Did you ever stop and think about the development of today’s family vehicles? In my youth, I can clearly remember rolling across country in the family station wagon, a 1948 Chevy “woodie” that literally shook rattled and rolled. Not exactly like today’s rolling living rooms decked out with DVD entertainment systems that have headsets for the kids so the folks can listen to their CD of choice. They have coolers for food and drinks and plenty of comfort for the trip.
