2009 Infiniti M35 AWDA REAL BLOCKBUSTER
2009 Infiniti M35 AWD

By: Melanie Droz

I spent my summer break watching blockbuster films in the theatre; however, it was the 2009 Infiniti M35 AWD that made #1 on my list. It was able to contest the power presented in Terminator and Transformers, its high-tech features were a match for Star Trek, its exterior and interior appeal are as suave as John Dillinger in Public Enemies and the M35 was as much fun to drive as the comedic prowess in The Hangover.

The machines in Terminator who are attempting their final assault on mankind, fail to execute their power in the end. The power behind the 3.5 liter V6 engine in the M35 does not fall short of total domination. As soon as your foot touches the pedal, you can feel its authority on the road. The 303 horsepower and vehicle-speed-sensitive power steering made it easy for me to move quickly down the highway. After all, I didn’t want to miss a showtime.
Although there were times I wanted to drive fast, the 2009 Infiniti M35 AWD could transform into a smooth and safe ride. Much like the Autobats do in the Transformers. Sam Witwicky felt secure riding in Bumblebee, just as I did driving in the M35. The advanced airbag system and front and rear suspension were features that Optimus Prime can’t even match.

2009 Infiniti M35 AWDIn addition, the 2009 Infiniti M35 AWD comes standard with brake-activated front pre-crash seat belts, brake assist, and electronic brake force distribution. I was rather amazed by the advanced technology package the M35 has to offer. It reminded me of the U.S.S. Enterprise, a highly developed starship used to lead a crew through the galaxy in an attempt to save mankind, a common theme in summer flicks this year. Star Trek, a movie intended to take place in the future, doesn’t put much past the Infiniti M35. The lane departure warning and prevention feature kept me driving completely straight and staying in my lane. The beep that occurred every time I swerved kept me alert.  I also appreciated the intelligent cruise control that kept the M35 a safe distance from the car in front of it. If this is what the future has to offer, than “Beam me up, Scottie.”
The charisma of John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) stole the screen this summer. Similarly, the 2009 Infiniti M35 AWD stole the streets with its sweet exterior and interior features. For instance, its blue slate scratch shield paint protects the outer surface of the M35, leaving it clean and slick. In addition to the impressive exterior, the M35 offers just as much on the inside. The press button ignition makes it easy to start, the leather appointed seats are comfortable and the African rosewood trim make it look luxurious. It would be easy to stay locked up in the M35, which contrasts from the ability to keep John Dillinger locked up in Public Enemies.

The Hangover was such a fun movie to watch; in a similar manner, the 2009 Infiniti M35 was a fun sedan to drive. We jammed to the music playing on the Bose 5.1 surround system with 14 speakers, some of which were located on each side of the driver and passenger seat headrests. It was also fun to utilize the touchscreen navigation screen and power sliding moonroof. Although there was no tiger or six-month-old baby trapped in the M35, we still had a grand time.
However, how much are you willing to pay for a good time? At $54,915.00, the 2009 Infiniti M35 costs a bit more than an $8.00 movie ticket. But, having all of these blockbusters mustered into one car, it might just be worth it.
